VOLUNTEER DAY at SMARTS Farm at The Orchard

Due to rain storm on Saturday, we are postponing our volunteer day. 

Join us at SMARTS Farm at The Orchard for a fun morning volunteering.

10:30 am – 12:30 pm

Volunteer Projects for the Day:

  • Build 2 Metal Garden Beds for the Youth Programs and add soil (www.metalgardenbeds.com)
  • Amend gardens beds
  • Strengthen the children’s GOURD vine (our gourds last year were fabulous)
  • Pull weeds, Pick up rotten oranges
  • Plant our Seeds for Growth. Seedlings we will be selling at our plant sale on April 18th.
  • Build Small and large educational signs
  • We are building an owl box for The Orchard and may have plywood to cut.
