Last week we celebrated our first Feast in the Field hosted by The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe and SMARTS Farm. The evening began at SMARTS Farm where guests toured the beautiful youth gardens, enjoyed wine by Laird Family Estate wine from Napa Valley. Following the garden tour, guests gathered around Farmer and Cheesemaker, Jack Ford, for an exciting and interactive Goat Cheesemaking class – all things Goat Cheese “recipes, styles, flavors” and lots of sampling”! Last but not least, guests enjoyed a delightful and delicious farm-style goat cheese inspired dinner designed and prepared by Exec. Chef Christopher Haas.
We truly loved meeting all of the guests. A very special thank you to The Inn, Jack Ford, and Chef Chris! Looking forward to our next Feast in the Field on October 10th.
